How much do Facebook and Meta ads cost in the Philippines in 2026?

About ₱9 to ₱10 a click, and about ₱1,500 a lead.

Those figures come from a 2026 benchmark guide by Spiralytics, a Makati agency, updated in September 2026. It puts the average cost per click at ₱9 to ₱10, the cost per 1,000 impressions at ₱75 to ₱120, and the median cost per lead at about ₱1,540.

Meta does not set these prices. Your ads enter an auction against every other advertiser trying to reach the same people. That is why the same ad costs more in Metro Manila than in Cebu or Davao, and more in December than in January.

Treat any benchmark as a starting point. Other published guides quote lower or higher click costs, depending on the industry and the months they measured. Your own account data, after a few weeks, is the only number that matters.

Two patterns are worth planning around. Costs per 1,000 impressions climb by about 25% to 40% from September to December, when big retailers flood the auction. And targeting beyond Metro Manila can lower them by about 15% to 25%.

What is the full monthly bill for Meta ads?

The number you type into Ads Manager is not what leaves your account. There are four parts.

Four parts of an ad bill

Most owners budget for the first one only.

Ad spend

What Meta charges to show your ads.

12% VAT

Added to ad spend since 2025. ₱50,000 becomes ₱56,000.

Management

A fixed fee, or often 10% to 20% of ad spend, if someone runs them.

Follow up

The time and tools to answer every inquiry the ads bring.

The VAT comes from Republic Act No. 12023, which applies 12% VAT to digital services from foreign providers such as Meta. If your card limit is ₱50,000, the ads stop at about ₱44,640 of real spend, because the rest goes to tax.

The fourth tile has no invoice, so it is the easiest to forget. It also decides whether the first three were worth paying.

What will Meta ads cost me per customer?

Move the sliders to match your plan. The starting numbers use the 2026 benchmarks above.

Ad budget calculator

From ad spend to cost per customer.

Total monthly cost, with VAT0
Leads per month0
Cost per paying customer0

How it works: total = ad spend plus 12% VAT plus the management fee. Leads = ad spend divided by cost per lead. Cost per customer = total divided by the leads that buy. Set the fee to zero if you run the ads yourself.

With the starting numbers, ₱30,000 of ads costs ₱39,600 in total, brings about 20 leads and four customers, and each customer costs ₱9,900. Now move the last slider from 20% to 40%. The cost per customer halves, and you did not spend one more peso on ads. That is the effect of better follow up.

Should I run Meta ads myself or hire someone?

Both can work. The right choice depends on your budget, your time and how costly a mistake would be.

A simple rule: below about ₱20,000 a month in ad spend, a management fee takes too large a share, so learn the basics and run them yourself. Above that, mistakes cost real money and skilled help usually pays for itself. For help deciding who to hire, see how to choose a digital marketing agency in the Philippines.

Why do my ads get likes but no sales?

1The ad was built for likes

A boosted post is usually set to get engagement. Meta then shows it to people who like and react, not people who buy. Use a campaign set to bring messages, leads or sales.

2Nothing tracks what happens next

If you cannot see which ad produced which inquiry, you cannot stop the weak ones or fund the strong ones. Set up conversion tracking before you raise the budget.

3Inquiries wait too long

Many ad inquiries in the Philippines arrive through Messenger. A person who messages three businesses often buys from the one that answers first. If your replies take hours, your competitor is closing leads you paid for. Read how leads get lost after they arrive.

4The offer is unclear

An ad cannot fix an offer people do not understand. State what it is, who it is for, what it costs and what to do next.

What should be in place before I spend on ads?

Tick these off first. Each unticked line is a place where ad money leaks.

Frequently asked questions

How much do Facebook and Meta ads cost in the Philippines?

Published 2026 benchmarks put the average cost per click at about ₱9 to ₱10, the cost per 1,000 impressions at about ₱75 to ₱120, and the median cost per lead at about ₱1,500. Figures vary by industry, season and source, so treat them as a starting point.

What is a good starting budget for Meta ads in the Philippines?

A local small business can start with about ₱200 to ₱500 a day. For a proper test, one published guide recommends ₱20,000 to ₱55,000 a month, which gives the system enough data to learn who responds to your ads.

Is there VAT on Facebook ads in the Philippines?

Yes. Since 2025, digital services such as Meta ads carry 12% VAT under Republic Act No. 12023. A ₱50,000 ad budget becomes about ₱56,000 in total cost.

Should I run Meta ads myself or hire someone?

Run them yourself if your budget is small, your offer is simple and you can give the ads a few hours each week. Hire someone when your budget is large enough that mistakes are expensive, or when you cannot track which ads bring paying customers.

Why do my ads get likes but no sales?

Usually for one of three reasons: the ad was set to get engagement instead of inquiries, nothing tracks what happens after the click, or inquiries wait too long for a reply. Fix tracking and follow up before you raise the budget.
