How much does a website cost in the Philippines?

Quick answer

A website in the Philippines costs about ₱50,000 to ₱500,000 to build in 2026, depending on the type of site, the platform and who builds it. A simple landing page can cost ₱15,000 to ₱60,000. A small business website costs about ₱50,000 to ₱250,000. An online store starts at about ₱80,000 from a freelancer and about ₱300,000 from an agency. Add ₱14,000 to ₱34,000 a year for domain, hosting and basic upkeep.

Key takeaways

  • The type of website moves the price more than the number of pages.
  • A ₱15,000 quote and a ₱300,000 quote are usually for different products.
  • Budget for yearly costs: domain, hosting, platform fees and maintenance.
  • A website only pays off if it turns visitors into inquiries you can count.

How much does a website cost in the Philippines in 2026?

Most professional builds land between ₱50,000 and ₱500,000.

Two published 2026 guides agree on that band. Spiralytics, a Makati agency, puts design and development at ₱50,000 to ₱500,000 per project. Designblue Manila, a Makati web studio, uses the same range and splits it by who builds the site.

The range is wide because “a website” covers very different things. A one-page site for a new café and an online store with 800 products are not the same project at different prices. They are different projects.

Most local businesses need one of the first seven. If your business takes appointments, a booking site usually pays for itself fastest, because each booking is an inquiry you no longer have to chase by message.

Does it matter who builds the website?

Yes. The same type of website costs very different amounts depending on who builds it. Designblue Manila’s 2026 guide describes three bands.

Three price bands for a website build

Who builds it, and what you usually get.

₱50k to ₱100k

A freelancer installs a template and adds your content. Fine for a simple site.

₱100k to ₱250k

A small agency or senior freelancer team. Real design thinking and testing.

₱250k to ₱800k+

A boutique agency. Custom design, strategy and complex features.

Pick by need

Match the band to the type of site and what it must do for the business.

Very low quotes exist too. Designblue notes that a ₱15,000 quote is almost always a templated WordPress or Wix site with little customization. That can be enough for a landing page. It rarely holds up for a store or a booking system.

How much does an e-commerce website cost in the Philippines?

Agencies quote from about ₱300,000 for a Shopify store and ₱600,000 and up for a custom platform, according to Designblue Manila. A freelancer can set up a simpler Shopify or WooCommerce store for less.

Shopify and WooCommerce run most Philippine online stores. AfterShip counts about 10,190 Shopify stores and 4,960 WooCommerce stores in the country. Here is how they compare for a small store.

One detail many owners miss: Shopify’s own payment service is not available in the Philippines yet, so you will need a local payment gateway. Ask your builder which one they will connect and what it charges per transaction.

What does a website cost every year after launch?

The build is a one-time cost. These costs repeat every year.

  • Domain: about ₱1,175 to ₱3,525 a year.
  • Hosting: about ₱1,200 to ₱6,000 a year for a basic site. Online stores need more.
  • Basic maintenance: about ₱1,000 to ₱2,000 a month for updates, security and backups.
  • Platform and apps: monthly fees for Shopify, paid plugins and booking tools.
  • Online store upkeep: much higher. Designblue puts store maintenance from about ₱35,000 a month for its own builds.

Together, a simple site costs about ₱14,000 to ₱34,000 a year to keep running. If a quote does not mention these, ask before you sign.

What will my website cost?

Move the sliders to match your plan. The result is a planning range, not a quote.

Website cost estimator

Type, builder and content. Two numbers.

Build cost, one time0
Running cost, per year0

How it works: each type has a typical range. A freelancer prices toward the low end, a small agency toward the high end, and a boutique agency above it. Copy and photo help adds about 25%, in line with published estimates that content is 20% to 30% of a project. Yearly cost covers domain, hosting and basic upkeep, plus platform fees for online stores. These are our planning assumptions.

What makes a website cost more?

1Features that behave like software

A contact form is cheap. A property search with filters and maps, a booking calendar with deposits, or a member login is weeks of development. The moment a site has to do something, not just show something, the price climbs.

2Custom design instead of a template

A template is quick and cheap. A design built for your brand costs more, but it is easier to extend when you add a page, a campaign or a new service later.

3Content you do not have yet

Copy, product photos and team photos take time. Designblue estimates content at 20% to 30% of a properly built project. If you have none, budget for it.

4The platform

WordPress is flexible but needs regular updates. Shopify handles checkout and hosting but charges monthly. Custom builds cost the most and lock you to a developer who knows the code.

5Connections to your other tools

Linking forms to a CRM, orders to inventory, or bookings to reminders adds cost. It also adds the most value, because it is what stops inquiries from slipping away. See our guide to the best CRM for small business in the Philippines.

What should I check before I pay for a website?

A good-looking website that brings no inquiries is the expensive option. Tick these off with any builder before you sign.

Website quote check0/7

The third line is the one most builders skip. Without it, you cannot tell whether the website brings in business. Our website and conversion tracking service builds it in from day one. For help picking a builder, read how to choose a digital marketing agency in the Philippines.
